We are excited to welcome two new members to the executive team at TechWomen.
Maja Lee (Sky NZ) – Maja brings with her a wealth of digital marketing experience, as well as being a career mum and advocate of Women in Technology.
Pip Gilbert (AWS) – Pip is the NZ Strategy and Operation Lead at Amazon. She is very passionate about the community and helping Aotearoa to be a better place especially with more women in Tech, start-ups and non-for-profits. We’ve been busy on the virtual event front with our Ada Lovelace day webinar being very well received by those who tuned in! Thank you to everyone who took part.
TechWomen NZ also hosted an online event as part of Mental Health Awareness Week 2021, with Umbrella Wellbeing NZ CEO and Clinical Psychologist Gaynor Parkin, who shared helpful productivity and wellbeing tips during times of uncertainty.
Our mentoring circles are finishing up for another year. Although Covid disruption forced some of our in-person circles online, the troops rallied and keep up their connecting virtually.
