DESCRIPTION:After an outstanding event at Jade last week the stakes are getting higher for top presentations to our audience. \nWe are lucky to have Computer Concepts Limited host our next event at the University of Canterbury on 19th March from 4.30 pm to 6.30 pm. \nThis time we have two speakers who are consecutively presenting: \nAnna Johnstone\nTopic: Negotiation – top tips to get the salary and opportunities you want \nWhether negotiating your salary package\, the flexibility that you want\, or a new role or project\, many women find the mere prospect of negotiating to be downright terrifying. Join Leadership Coach Anna Johnstone for an insightful and relaxed evening where she’ll share top tips and practical advice to help you better negotiate for yourself. \nAnna is Founder and CEO of The Female Career https://www.thefemalecareer.com/ and brings nearly 20 years of experience across HR\, Talent and Sales & Marketing roles across UK and Europe. She trained as a Negotiator through the Gap Partnership when she was a Sales Director at Mars Wrigley Confectionery and as a Coach she has helped numerous women negotiate for what they want at work. \nStella Ward\nTopic: My digital career journey \nStella will share her story with the audience.\nShe is the inaugural Chief Digital Officer for the Canterbury DHB and the West Coast DHB. This role provides strategic leadership and governance to ensure current and future technology contributes to the transalpine vision of an integrated health system – “One System\, One Budget”. \nStella also has a number of Executive Portfolios that include the Christchurch Health Precinct and Health Innovation (Via Innovations Executive Director). She is also a Board member of the New Zealand Health Innovation Hub. The overarching purpose behind these areas of innovation is to accelerate smart ideas\, products and services to improve health outcomes. \nStella is the commercial relationship manager for the Strategic Partnerships with Orion Health; Hewlett Packard and GE Healthcare. She is also a member of the Hewlett Packard Enterprise Global Advisory Board. \nStella trained as a speech language therapist and has worked in the public health system\, private practice\, education and welfare. She has held executive leadership roles in a number of DHBs.
